Your right about the explosion and fire, but the date is different.
She is the BARBAROS
Completed 1936 as HOEGH HOOD and sold and renamed Barbaros in 1953, owned by Denizcilik Limiited Sirketi, Turkey.
23/9/1965 while off Izmit she had an explosion and fire which killed 15 onboard.
She was not repaired and went for breaking up arriving Pasabahce 2.2.1966
