Thank you for your efforts Paul, as has been stated we have no control over the content given, it is from an outside source and is sometimes incorrect but by reporting it you have taken the right action.
What has also been said is that the IMO number is the key, if that is correct then any concern over details an be checked if needed. Kind regards Ken |

Well, I reported errors in ship details as follows, CAMPANA- flag Norway is wrong, must be Spain. ANHWEI- flag Sweden is wrong, must be Panama. CASTOR (museum ship) flag Malta is wrong, must be Dutch flag - Netherlands. ALBUR- Liberty ship flag U.S.A is wrong, must be Uruguay. We'll see what happens.... Phil is right Paul.
This database has many faults, but at least it links the IMO's so members can easily more than one photo of a particular ship. Also as Phil says, if you report the fault then the database is continually updated. |

We hear you Paul but there's nothing we can do. As explained many times, the vessel data comes from an external source which the admins and members of shipspotting.com have no control over. You can click on the "Report error in ship details" link to alert the data supplier, but posting comments is not going to help. Sorry!
