Chris Empire Sunbeam was virtually a new build from my memory. I did get to see her in Sydney Harbour as Swainby may have been late 1952 in Ropner colours who would have thought it would be another twenty years before she was scrappped.

Served on this vessel as Empire Sunbeam, Deck officer 1941 guess that shows my age a little. What a wonderful shot this is and being colour is just amazing. Thank you Chris for posting this image.
