MT Lady Safiya ran aground near the entrance to Calabar channel.she was been taken to the Calabar scrapyard in eastern Nigeria. the Tugboat developed a gearbox problem and abandoned the operation. she had no oil or cargo onboard . she is at lat 04 degree 30'35N
and long 08 degree 19'45E
