Nobody on this site (except Jens in the first comment) is speaking about the QUEEN MARY 2.
The commentators debate is anyhow being interesting, but I believe not so much interesting as the QUEEN MARY 2 itself grand appearance on this fine pic.

Would be nice, if they can build a parking place half-way!
Jens Boldt on Jul 25, 2012 20:07 (6 years ago)
Henk, here's some kind of alternative for Dockland, but I couldn't find any info when it will be completed... (I think they haven't even started yet.)
Henk de Winde on Jul 25, 2012 19:57 (6 years ago)
Oh, Oh. That will be Pilot Station next year I suppose!
Jens Boldt on Jul 25, 2012 19:55 (6 years ago)
I wouldn't count on that, Henk!:-( Ok, they have an elevator inside the building, but as it is an office building you're not allowed to use it (I think you won't even get access inside as there is security around.) - I once watched a scene when a young couple wanted to use the elevator because the lady was sitting in a wheel chair. Their wish was declined and the man was told that if they wanted to go up there together, the guy would have to carry his wife...:-O
Henk de Winde on Jul 25, 2012 19:35 (6 years ago)
Hope they will make an elevator befor May coming (grinz)

You were lucky that it was a normal working day today, hobby captains were off to work and it was too early for the harbor boat trips...:-) - On sunny days like this Dockland is a great place to catch incoming vessels in the morning or outbound vessels in the evening, always worth the 139 steps (ächz).

Thanks Jens, I like her, too. And today morning she arrived without any tourist boats around her and Dockland was open,
so again something new for me to watch her ;-)

Beautiful photo, Malte! She's spectacular - every time ...:-)
