The 1948 Rotterdam built and owned MAASHAVEN was photographed as OBA OVONRAMWEN passing Gravesend, outbound from London bound for West Africa on 30th April 1969 in the ownership of Nigerian National Line who had purchased her in 1965, initially naming her OBA OVERAMI.
In 1967, for some unknown reason, renamed OBA OVONRAMWEN, she was sadly wrecked on Carpenter Rock, Freetown on 12.5.69 and towed to Hamburg for breaking, arriving on 17.4.70 |
