| I remember reading that a passenger from the ANDREA DORIA was found on the STOCKHOLM (now ATHENA ) .The bows of the Stockholm having just rammed exactly under his cabin bunk and deposited him on her focsle.A very lucky passenger indeed. |

| Except of course that it was not these bows that cut open the Andrea Doria. Those bows were totally destroyed in that accident and the whole forward part of her hull had to be rebuilt. |
