Sorry Peter, the "eye" was a typo. Photography for the ship, I use either the Canon 180mm prime lens or the Canon 100-400mm. High das180mm is the best lens from Canon.

Klaus why did you call it an "eye" Canon 5D? Have you tried the 28-300 IS-L? Ideal for ship photography...
