Description:

Charles Hill built tanker bringing the real black stuff from Dublin to the UK. Delivered December 1976, renamed Maigue in 1993 and broken up Bramley Moore Dock, Liverpool, February 1994. Not sure whether to put in under wine tankers (which it strictly isn't) or chemical tankers (which it isn't despite the ethanol content) !!

I was given permission from the vessels Master to have a look around this ship while docked in Runcorn, England. This was for an assignment while taking my Mates certificate at JMU in Liverpool. Great memories and thanks for sharing.
