I had the pleasure and the chance to tour this beautiful vessel from the engine room to the wheelhouse, on a certain Saturday in May of 1968 as she was Christened at the Canadian Vicker shipyard. Large bore, slow speed Sulzer engine, variable pitch propeller, bow and stern thrusters.

These are sad times on the Lakes with so many lakers going to scrap. I miss the Upper Lakes flag as well as their fleet.
