I even more admire her classic round shaped stern & her stern anchor arrangement which is fitted on the stern to comply with the Great Lakes requirements.

More than a decade ago ships like this were the biggest in my hometown & it was always nice to see another bulker with elegant hull, classic 70s accommodation & the row of cranes - one of the unforgettable shipshapes in my past. Todays bulkers with cranes look all the same & boring.

Hello Denis

I do not understand the ! behind nostalgic. Let me explain. Nowadays you have all this boxshaped ships even if the are Bulkers or Containervessels. They have no "faces" anymore. I am now sailing since 30 years I still have this nice old vessels in mind with a lot of derricks, masts and real "faces". Most ships looks different in this time. Nowadays I am happy to see some old buggar like the Leopard B not much left of them. The nice old ships are only existing as Pictures nthing for real. But real is this one 36 years old and still alive.
For me an real old Lady which still exist in real live.

Best regards
Andreas
