Thanks Dedge,
I've zoomed the original in steps up to 500% and the last letter is almost certainly an "A" and definitely not an "O", so I think we can call it on that one. I never cease to be amazed how you guys seem to be able to see a fairly generic shape and still put a name to it. I'll update the details shortly and see if it provokes a debate. |

Looks like either Agip Livorno or Agip Venezia, both built 1961 by C.R.D. Adriatico and about 48,000 dwt tons. There was a third sister, Agip Bari, but her name is too short to fit the name visible. |
