| Wharf operations at Walsh Bay effectively ceased in the 1970s. A Masterplan for Walsh Bay embraced a wide range of uses and features and breathed new life back into the Precinct. Pier 2/3 has been carefully repaired and returned to public ownership for cultural, exhibition and convention uses. Other wharves are similarly now a good contributor to current community uses. |
