Regardless if the ramp should be up or down, it is a beautiful picture, with the lights on on the ship giving it a nice warm glow and I like the texture of the cliffs in the background.
Well done to the photographer.

Jadran, the trouble is that doors should only be opened once the ship is safely moored. I fyl with my seatbelt tightened, even if their is no turbulence. I have my seatbelt always on in a car, even driving in the village. It is a matter of safety discipline and awarenss, which is not always observed, and having been around the world I can mentioned a lot of specific places where this is the case, Southern Europe being one of them.

Nothing special here, only people commenting & raising the numbers of hits.

The crew is just in process of lowering the stern ramp (keeping it half-way up) for the next few minutes arrival and berthing at Santorini Island, port Athinios ferry pier.
The Mediterranean weather is good, the sea is calm and the ship is already in manoeuvre to turn her stern towards the ferry pier.
What's the trouble in all this?

Ok, guys... What the fuss is all about? I've seen a far better & interesting shots without a single comment.

On the other hand, is there a WT door between the stern mooring room and the ro-ro deck?

One wonders, those maritime comments...great shot, beautiful shot! Extra beautiful shot!!! People WAKE up! WATCH those GREEK mariners when you take a ferry ride between the islands. Does ANYBODY remember the Horrendous accident with the Herald of Free Enterprise? Where our great British Mariners were leaving the port of Zeebrugge with the bowdoors not fully closed? Will NOBODY ever learn? Even in Greece they should remember how many people died...
When I would be the managing director of Nel Lines, I would FIRE the entire crew of this ship. Period.
Think about it....
