Oops! The only height I could find said 46 but gave no unit of measurement. I assumed metres, turned out it was feet.
Still, 14m and not quite as reaching the deck. |

A photo like this will never be taken again. No more mega vessels of superb design to be built at Odense/Lindo. So sad, also for the workforce in this region.

The lighthouse is circa 46m tall which gives you an idea of the sheer size of this ship.

The crew could have fixed a pole of length=3m, sticking forward from her bow, to make her overall length being over 400m i.e. clearly 401 meters length. |
