Not quite, Dave, they were developed at the same time by two seperate companies, P&O and Orient Line, and were completed within year of each other. CANBERRA must have been quite far along by the time ORIANA entered service. |

Nice shot Gordy, I sailed on the Oriana as A/B in 1967, it's nice to see a picture of her that doesn't look lik it came off the top of a chocolate box. |

what a wonderful maritime scene to wake up to! I managed to shoot her many times at Vancouver, both in her original corn livery, and in P&O white! mrdot. |
