Description:

First a fishing boat, then a famous vessel that, after more than a decade of research, discovered a load of California gold off North Carolina coast. Made famous in the book "Ship of Gold". Now dead and rusting, tied to a pier in Green Cove Springs, near Jacksonville, Fl.

The Odyssey Explorer will be the ship to bring all that gold from the bottom of the sea, off the SC coast. SS Central America went down in a hurricane with 425 people and tons of gold from California. After decades of court battles, a new company has been awarded recovery rights to it's treasure.
