Oh, the last of the TT 240 series from HDW yard is gone! They were the largest vessel ever constructed in Kiel.

Guys, What ever you say .. you just cannot fitted them in PPE just to cut the Scrap from the ships... I've talked many of them and also with the Owners they just can't fit into it..

This is really a hard job to do and the Labor is not feeling comfortable in uniform.. they are happy in their own cloths and enjoy working freely.

A lot of money is made from the ship scrapping industry, but only a insignificant part of it goes to these unfortunate persons who risk life and limbs so that the owners of these companies fill their coffers.Explotation of these poor workers is rife on the beach of Gaddani.

It looks like these poor souls have to take a make-shift breeches-bouy to get to their scrap site! and we were complaining about safety conditions! mrdot.

At Alang or at Gaddani beach all the local scrapyard workers, that can be seen standing on the sandy shoreline, are always clothed in the same & uniformed manner i.e. only in simple tunics and sometimes wearing a hat-like cap.
Makes me always feel so sad to see this misery, that is consuming the today civilization in a different way than we do.
