Description:

Former OT Rederierna ro-ro vessel on builders trials off west coast of Sweden. Built by Lodose Varv, Sweden 1978. Now the infamous m/v Faina currently being held by pirates off Somalia.

Apologies but you have the earlier Vallmo there. This was the later, much larger, ship for the same owners and was the second of the 'Flower' class vessels built for the Johannson Brothers-owned OT Rederierna of Skarhamn for the Roto Line service between Wallhamn/Felixstowe/Ghent. The sisterships were Kaprifol (1977) and Linne (1979). Herewith some furher information;

Sold: 2003 to ADG, Latvia and renamed Marabou, vessel remains on charter to Cobelfret.
