CAMBOINHAS Very interesting fate! Built 1913 by Sunderland Shipbuilding Co.Ltd. # 275 as TIARA. She run aground at Piratininga, Niteroi on May 29, 1958. Being hard aground couldn't be refloated and was broken up in situ. Lower section of the hull was left on the beach and that part of Piratininga is called Camboinhas Beach. Brgds
