I like the pic Josip. I did not visit the site for a long period, and only now can see how it is pity that appearance of the photo is actually somehow spoiled with comments; or some of them. But, do not give up. Shoot, shoot, shoot...
Regards from South hemisphere,
Luko

Thank you Ken!...I even myself suggested to You such a solution ref my kind & polite written reply towards another of the comment, regarding maybe an unsuitable issue for this site, ref. Dubrovnik recent history.
But nevertheless, not withstanding your thoughtful provided explanation, it still seems and appears that I have said something wrong.
Can you please clarify & inform the audience of this page, that I have said nothing wrong...but you have chosen your final decision as it is, for the sake of the ships only.

Jadran and Capt Ted, I have deleted your comments with regard to Dubrovnik as being inappropriate and not in keeping with the general trend of comments in this thread.

This photo is perfect and there is no need to caviling about horizon. Also, I think when you get critisizm about photo, it actually makes you a better author of your future pics then before.

Thank you Submariner for your explanation of the Croatian language, as you will know Google does not translate obscene language so as this is now the case and obscene language has been used then I would ask Helen for a full "Public Apology" for using such words and to warn her that unless this is given further action will be taken.

Ah, Ah...everybody, it is only to say, maybe:
"The scene on this photo is unique".

I think that it's herewith, on this site, only necessary to look/watch at any photo & admire it or not...any comments are not obligatory necessary to be!

All fans shipspottinga.this is my first photo among the first three, and I'm very happy, pretty please will not argue about photography.Best regards Josip

Ken, you wrote 'it does not contain any bad language as such' but what to say for Croatian 'odjebi' which has only one meaning: 'fuck-off'! And 'Papak' is a slang word meaning 'moron'. Brgds

This is a translation of Helens message.

dear Joseph!!
just watching these comments these hooves of English-speaking and can not believe how many is envious and jealous that hoof nekažem anything else up, and the picture is like this, and the horizon, and 30 pages of pictures of the same boat I was super, super cool and got us that we are delighted with the picture
Keep it up buddy and this bugger
May you greetings from NERETVE
Helen!

Whilst it does not contain any bad language as such it does show an aggressive attitude towards other members and that cannot be tolerated
This Website is for all to enjoy and the official language is English and is expect to be used as a standard, use of own languages to publish abuse at others will not be tolerated and action could be taken against members using such messages under the "Code of Conduct".

Ken Smith

I am very unpleasantly surprised and so offended with a comment of Helen Krmic! I believed that this is a site of of shipspotter’s and shiplover’s community and not a dirty language forum. The only good thing is the great majority of members and visitors can’t understand his message as it’s in Croatian and Google Translate has no dirty words in menu. Brgds Sub

This is a beautiful photo and an unusual view of the bridge over the ship. Play of light and shadow in the night, highlights the beauty of the ship and the background. A good photo of a beautiful ship in the most beautiful city in the world. Best regards. Helen

I was on my way to place a more worthy comment, when I was met with some priorities.
Therefore I go now:
I guess that this fine photo would be even more attractive if the bridge above the ship was moderately illuminated with its own lighting... but that is something the photographer can do nothing about!

Clive is correct, unusual might have been a better word to have used, it is certainly not rare with currently 350 photographs of her on this website.

Good day Clive!
In mine sole opinion this photo is rare, and is rare because I have never seen before a photo on which a "ship is covered" with a bridge" in such a way i.e. the bridge almost looks like a tent above the ship.
Kind regards/Jadran
