CORK IMO 5187059 Very interesting ship! Built in 1937 by Dublin Dockyard Co. as KILKENNY for British & Irish Steam Packet Co. as a combined livestock/general cargo ship. After being laid-up at Dublin for nearly three years B&I sold her in 1971 to P.J.O. Conner. As CORK sailed until May 1974 when sustained heavy engine breakdown in the Irish Sea. Next month scrapped at Dalmuir. Brgds
