The spread Stulcken mast tops, onto where the heavy lift derrick (HLD) wire-ropes are brought to sheaves, minimize the heeling effect of the ship in respect to the case with bipod masts.
The spread distance of the Stulcken mast top, away from the ship's centerline, acts like a "counterweight" for the HLD hooked weight.

There were even 3 more sisters of this class of ship built for Czechoslovakia national shipping company..
I like very much the impressive look of the STULCKEN mast/derrick on this ship.
