Hi Denis & Nor_Survey, thanks for the extra information regarding the sky lounge...so I was nearly correct, even though I was joking about the cocktail lounge...
It would seem to be the most suitable place aboard for a bar - a bar that serves alcohol....! If only. ;-)
Regards, Rick

Thanks for nice feedback!
The sky-lounge is a nice place to be for relaxing and enjoying the good view up there.
Picture taken from Mars`s sister vessel Mercury.

Rick, it's a sky lounge, an added feature to UT786 design - many Havila ships have it for better crew comfort.
You can see one ship without that sky lounge - http://www.swire.com.sg/fleetclass.aspx?nid=4&type=1&class=4

She is a very good looking vessel, and I really admire the distinct shape of the bridge and the 'upper bridge', such an unusual but noteworthy design.
Can anybody explain to me the reason for the 'upper bridge', it would seem to serve little purpose in terms of extra height & vision? Maybe it is the cocktail lounge.... ;-)
Superb photo too, Nor_Survey. Well done.
Rregards, Rick
