I think this used to be a Royal Navy "Bird" class patrol boat.
Seen at Baltimore. MD on 18/05/02

Yes indeed it is an ex Bird Class patrol boat of the Royal Navy. It was the ex HMS REDPOLE. Here is a website you might find interesting.
