And don't forget the POLYNESIA, the former Portuguese White Fleet ARGUS, that is now waiting better days in Aveiro.

Captain Ted: the supply ship was the AMAZING GRACE (IMO 5276874), a former buoy tender. She arrived at Aliaga for breaking on 4/12/'10. There was another ship called the FANTOME III which foundered whilst trying to outrun hurricane Mitch in 1998.

@Captain Ted: I think you meant the former Northern Lighthouse Board buoy laying vessel 'Amazing Grace', which sadly was scrapped two ore three years ago.

Yes Capt., Manadalay was another Windjammer ship caught up in their bankruptcy but I believe that she's now sailing again for Angermeyer Cruises

I remeber seeing both the Legacy and the Mandalay in St.Georges, Grenada during the early 90,s. But there was a third one which I saw there, forgot the name. And they had a old supply ship which brought supplies once a month from Miami, she looked like an old cargo/pax vessel with still a wooden bridge

Once part of the Windjammer Barefoot Cruise fleet. Windjammer went bankrupt and the fleet sat idle, eventually abandoned. Then, as Capt. Ted says, bad weather caused her to run aground on the rocks.

Captain Ted, she obviously did not have long to go when I see your photo dated October 2010. Thanks for the information

She was somehow caught up in a dispute between owners and whoever. Then the port costs escalated and the owners walked away. he achored in Caldera for a long time, then in late 2010 she was pushed by bad weather onto the rocks where she was eventually broken up
