Moored in front of St.Mark's Square, Venice, in August 1992, was the tug SIRIUS. The vessel had long been out of use and when I next returned to Venice in 2002, the moorings had gone as had the SIRIUS. Does anyone know her fate, was she preserved or broken up ?
