General cargo Besiktas broke in two in heavy weather in Black sea off Sochi port, Russia, at around 06:00 Feb 13 2011.
Crew 12, of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey nationalities, presumably unharmed. Russian rescuers trying to rescue the crew, rescue hindered by storm with heavy swell.

Later reports show that 10 sailors rescued from the ship Besiktas that split in two and 2 sailors still remain missing.
