Fine comments. It seems Frederic Logghehas some more photos of her, a houseboat perhaps?

Thanks David, I am suspecting something like this, too. A 35-year-reprieve - but finally the Ghent scrapyard got her...

She was German when sold for scrap in 1971, so it looks as if she was reprieved and used a Belgian owner at Ghent under Belgian flag, probably as an inland vessel, until 2006. Note the BR 33829 on the stern and some other stuff too small to read, but typical of inland registration data.

The stern certainly looks generally the same as the fomer German ANGELIKA I

2006? That's interesting - according to Miramar she was broken up at Ghent in 1971...

When was this photo taken?

High Frederic,

As we scrap so many smaller vessels I haven't got any pictures of them.

Frederic Logghe on Jan 22, 2006 17:12 (12 years ago)
Sorry to ask, but do you have any pictires from the Mousson when she was scrapped, I have some very good memories of that ship.

Kind regards,

Sorry Frederic,
I'm afraid this is the only picture I've taken of the scrapping of the "Angelika 1".
Best regards,
Frederic Logghe on Jan 21, 2006 19:42 (12 years ago)
Are their any more pictures available of her scrapping?

Kind regards,
