Hi,

The picture brought back a few memories the kitts was my first ship as a deck boy with the Colne, or more commonly know "Clown" Shipping Company, Lowesoft.

I used to live in a small two man cabin on the port side below the last porthole seen there on the portside. Basic conditions, now I come to think of it, terrible conditions being stuck on her for 45 days in the North Sea winter, asking for food of the Oil platforms and passing supply vessels, no wonder it was known as "Clown" shipping thank the lord those days have gone and we don't have Shipping Companies that treat the men like we was treated or do we??????

Thank you

Best regards

Phil
