Hi Jan, yes for the most part it's just a matter of a dutiful chief.

Hi Bendt,
Her E.R. is spotless so to see.
Captain Ted is right, a clean E.R. has not so much to do with the flag, its more about motivation. (that is what I see on a daily basis)
But I understand what gpd means with his comment.
Best regards, Jan

Gpd,, I work since 25 plus years on vessels flying Cayman Islands/Liberia/A&B and last 9 years Cyprus. Let me assure you that a dirty engine room has absolutely nothing to do with the FLAG, but all with the crew on the vessel and the Master who guiding them. I can,t remember a ship where I sailed 2-3 times as Capt, where the engine room was not as clean as this or better !!!!

Hello gpd, you're right it has been a dutiful crew, it is not an engine room you see so often on a ship with the age.

Thanks for your comments
Best Regards
Bendt

This vessel is 47 years old. The level of maintenance is just fantastic. Wonder if that had been true if the flag flying had been one of the more popular flag states....
