The thing is this vessel was completed and was in operation many years ago for the Soviet oil industry....it's her conversion that is stalled. One of the class has already been converted successfully to an exploration cruise ship Ortelius, but the work on Kay has stalled since she moved from Singapore where the initial conversion work was carried out

Looks old Karageorgis ferries...

Even in this unfinished state I find this to be a very beautiful vessel. I find it sad that (what ever the reasons) she never seems to get any nearer to being completed. I hope that one day she will.
