The fishery-base ROS - 316 = JUNGE WELT was the biggest German fishing ship. The formely name WILHELM PIECK right before the launched was covered with a tarpaulin with the new ship name. Launch. as JUNGE WELT: 04-11-1965 by the builder VEB Mathias-Thesen-Werft Wismar / GDR for the customer VEB Fischkombinat Rostock / GDR (Yard-No. 201), deliv. 10-03-1967. 10130 GRT gross.
