The latter is already published! First named 'Ship design through seven decades', the new one '75 years of ship design'. The latter includes a broader range of KEH projects, incl. cargo ships as well as little ferries. Both are worth their money!

Bruce Peter has written two splendid books on Knud E. Hansen, full of great pictures of all the ferries and cruise ship that his bureau designed. One book was published a few years ago by Forlaget Nautilus in Denmark, but it is in English (and I have it :-) ). A second book is to published very very soon (it's basically finished).

Yepp! Typical features for ferries as well as for cruise ships have been the twin funnel arrangement aft and the large dummy funnel amidship for passenger use as lounge, bar or something of that purpose.
