What a difference in Shipbuilding compared to the Vessels from nowadays. I totally agree with Markus , it is a pitty that this beautiful vessel has no future .....

Hi all,
A totally agree with Markus, and for him sadly enough the name of the vessel is a bit similar to his name.
This class was one of the real famous ships in the sevnties. I always loved these vessels.

What a shame, that such a historic technical monument (british built ship, doxford engine), could not be saved from the breakers torch. :-(
unbelivable for a nation with such a great maritime history!!!
I admire and say many thanks to the city of Hamburg that they've got the will to save the CAP SAN DIEGO! for future generation.
