The vessel was on her delivery voyage from the UK to new Nigerian owners.
She had called at Las Palmas for bunkers and stores.
Keel laid on 07/06/1984, launched on 11/02/1985, and completed on 29/03/1985, by Ferguson-Ailsa Shipyard, Port Glasgow, Scotland (565)
770 g.t. and 1,208 dwt., as:
'M.V.A.' to 2002,
'Afon Cadnant' to 2006, and
