In the distance in front of the bow one can see the 'HEMBRUG' railway swing bridge, now removed and replaced by a tunnel.

Admittedly I'm a member of the Shoebox- and Human Livestock carrier fraction on this site, but these vintage tankers looked really much more appealing than today's tankers... A beautiful photo, David.

I never thought ships looked at their best when not fully laden. I sailed on one of the Valour's sisters too, the London Tradition. She was a bit newer and they spent more money on the furnishings. She is posted here too and looks very nice:
