Yes Philippe she sure looks a wonderful design, thank you for the info regarding the aft mast.

These vessels, Nikolay Zhukov class (as the Mikhail Stenko),Pioner Moskvy class, Sestroretsk class and Kapitan Sakharov class (all built by Vyborg Shipyard), all had this caracteristic high mast in "T", behind the funnel and also this very high radar mast in the top of the roof of the bridge. I like very much these vessels!

Hi Philippe, thank you for your info, what I find quite interesting is that high mast behind her funnel,looks something extra as she has a sizeable one just on the bridge which could take all communications ,radar,flags etc.

Very interesting photo of the Mikhail Stenko under the soviet flag. What is strange is that she is chartered by Odessa Ocean Line. I thought she had only been chartered by the AZOV Shipping company during the soviet years...
