MacMillan Bloedel had a cargo receiving terminal in Tilbury docks where this ship had discharged (partially, by the look of it). They had various other ships on charter at the time, also regulars at Tilbury, including open-hatchers owned by CP Ships, if memory serves.

I remember the DRESDEN calling Saint John late 1970's to pick up cargo forest products (newsprint). The local mill was owned by MacMillan Bloedel (MacBlo) at the time. Hence the stylized MB logo on funnel. Company now defunct having been taken over in 1999 by Weyerhaeuser, another huge forest products company with HQ in Pacific Northwest (Federal Way, Washington-USA).
