Launched / delivered 1973 ; Yard No 443.
Type ALEKSANDRA KOLLONTAY - B443/11.

History :
Built for Soviet Union and there registered
until 13-09-1991.
From 1992 - 1992 LATVIAN FLAG ( her name unchanged )
1994 - sold to ALASKA SHOPPING S.A. , renamed ZENIA II,
fleg changed to PANAMANIAN.
On October 2nd 1994 , ZENIA II was on voyage from LERWICK (Shetland Isl ; UK) to DALIAN (China) with cargo of frozen fish . She passed Suez Canal , but later on sprang leak and sank off FARASAN BANK (Red Sea ) . All 24 crewmembers was rescued by Liberian flag bulker m/v MANESSI . They lended at DJIBOUTI.
