Description:

13/12/2012, Stellendam, Netherlands, whilst undergoing lengthening, and is to be renamed 'Coastal Legend'.
Vessel received a new IMO number of 9102887 as well (not sure why though).

Keel laid 28/01/1994, launched on 29/04/1994, and completed on 26/08/1994, by Padmos Scheepswerf, Stellendam, Netherlands. (151) 274 g.t., as :-
'Sara Maatje XII' to 2012, and
'Coastal Legend' since.

She is due to be renamed COASTAL LIBERTY, just as her sister SARA MAATJE IX, which was renamed COASTAL LEGEND after similar stretching last year.

COASTAL LEGEND has been operating at Cuxhaven since the conversion was completed in 8/2012.
She is now 328gt 99nt 41.56/42.97m
and previously 274gt 81nt 32.34/33.97m

Hi Dan, yes indeed you can see the inserted section - but I don'k know what her new tonnages will be , not her intended use..

I think she had just been lengthened when this photo was taken, I seem to recall an article in a towing newsletter.
