This part of the harbour is called French creek in which is situated Palumbo Malta dockyard ( ex-Malta Drydocks) ,deep inside the creek is No.s 4 and 5 docks, and No.2 and 3 on the left side whilst No.6 and 7 are on the right. No.1 dock was sited in the other creek on the other side of Senglea ,aptly named Dockyard creek, but now this dock is to form part of a yacht marina.
