I was the radio officer around 1966 on an eight month trip. She was probably the most beautiful ship I ever sailed in with the radio room and chart room in the funnel and the engine exhaust from a samson post. Cabins had divan beds rather than bunks - very comfortable. I often wondered what happened to her and now I know having discovered this site.
