Description:

FEARLESS at anchor off Terminal Island. She was originally the Coast Guard buoy tender SORREL (WAGL / WLB 296) until struck in 1996. In 2000 she became RELIANCE for the Sea Scout group in Stockton CA, then was sold to her present owners, the Seaway Trading Co. in 2007. U.S. ON 1097357

Hi George, I am the capt of the fearless and the new owner would like a downloadable photo of the vessel. Its new use is a seagoing clinic to help the poor in coastal towns in south America where there is little or no medical care. Thank You, Tom

The vessel remains at anchor in the same spot as of February 2015, with no evidence of further work on her.

I'm guessing she was bought by speculators and I don't believe she's done anything since the Sea Scouts sold her. The grey veseel alongside is a former Navy craft bought surplus and not modified, numbered 33PE784, meaning a 33-foot officer's launch.
