Hi Frank and Cornelia, here the story ends for Georgiana... Merseyshipping.blogspot reports her to be sold for scrap to Aliaga as of April 16th...:-(

we will see Sietas vessels for a long time if the newer Sietas container feeder also have a life of more than 40 years like Georgiana.

Frank, I hope so too ! I hope they last longer and perhaps in 20 years a few containerfeeders again :-) By then, the existing ones should be worn out enough to be replaced :-)
