Sad picture, she was one of the very last steam-powered VLCC's still in existence. Still, she lasted for 36 years, quite an achievement. Most of the tanker from the 70s did not even make half that age!

Yeap these are oil marks, when cutting to be started the ship breaker make sure to clean all the sludge and remaining oil to be removed for safety of welder and other staff...
