Launched in 1940 but laid up until 1945 as 'Kristina Thorden'.
During a voyage in 1968, the ship caught fire in cargo holds No.'s 4&5, and made for Durban.
The fire was extinguished 14 days but she was agroudnd and subsequently abandoned.
Later sold at Auction and broken up in 1970 in Durban.
