REMO arrived Fornaes Shipbreaking Ltd Grenaa / Denmark the 08-03-2013 for scrapping in towing from Vlissingen Stad Germany. WESTSUND IMO: 7822421 conducted the towing assisted in the final steps of RONJA IMO: 5111696
REMO had lost the rudder.

I do not know the explanation that she was going being scrapped, but I do not think it was only because of the rudder.

Bendt, was the loss of rudder a reason for scrapping or she was old and worn enough nevertheless?

Hi, Bendt! Sad to see her go. I happen to have Sea Partner's brochures including their fleet & her as 'Bremon' there. Very classic looking ship by now.
