Very dramatic shot. Really one of a kind...Can't understand why to delete that such rare in action scene like that one...
Rules are rules but fair good judgment is sometimes most important than rules. Don't delete please!
Very best regards to all admin for their usual good judgment!
Greetings Robert08

Great action shot and I agree with others about the railings, they actually add to the shot rather than detract from it.

Pictures that seem to be most conformant to the posting rules are ones that are of the 'still life' bowl of fruit variety. From time to time someone captures a brilliant shot by just being there at the right brief moment in time. Those are the moments that those of us who have been to sea can identify with and the moments that those who haven't find enthralling. There isn't time to for the photographer to run through the various posting rules to be sure that every moderator on every site everywhere will wholly approve of it. The photo is snatched in that instant. From then on the picture of the vessel can be displayed in all its vibrancy or it can be deleted in favour of showing it tied up alongside discharging cargo. Its all about what turns you on.

I agree with not deleting this photo. The railings give reference to the fact that this shot was captured from land and not another ship etc.

Brilliant action shot!!

Great to see images of shipping in other than glorious sunlight and flat calm sea.

Reminds me of trying to walk home after a night on the town in my younger days. Really neat photo.

Imagine putting everything to it's place just for it to fall off again all the time... Would need some extra glue for conditions like these! Superb shot, Ron!
