Description:

Escorting the barge PML 9000 with help from Vigilant 1, heading upbound in the Welland Canal at Port Weller, ON, 12-20-04. The two ventured all the way along the northside of Lake Ontario the night before due to gale warnings, though you can still see they must have had a rough time anyway.

Hi Matt

I guess she suffered quite a beating on Lake Ontario! Really unusual to see her with her blue hull all covered with ice. Nice sunny view.

Yeah Marc, that night they actually all went around(Yancanuck included) the lake borders. Even as far over to the Hamilton Harbor to weather out the storm. One heck of a night to be out there, but made for a great photo day in the morn. Thanks for the comment
